Hey guys

I’m really happy with your awesome work ๐Ÿ™‚

During polishing the front end I’m can’t find below string to translate. It is on the event detail page and ticket selector, when using the shortcode.

* Please note that a maximum number of 2 tickets can be purchased for this event per order.

Please advice

Many thanks
Ray

Hi Ray,

Is that from an older version of Event Espresso 4? The reason I ask is because the current version uses:

The number of tickets that can be purchased per transaction (if available).

and the above string can be changed by using the
FHEE__ticket_selector_chart_template__ticket_details_purchasable_quantities_message
filter hook.

Hi Josh

Currently I’m using Event Espresso – 4.8.37.p Version 4.4.2
I updated before I was trying to fix this

Please have a look at this page for an example: https://mindgroup-professionals.ch/kurse/mgp-informationsabend/

Can you tell me which templates are used, in case these have used in a child theme?
Any other guesses?

Thanks
Ray

Those are not strings that are included in EE4 core. Is your site overriding the stock ticket selector template?

I have the ticket_selector_chart.template.php modified to not display the ticket details. Is this the one in question?

Yes. There are settings for not displaying the ticket details now. So you probably can remove the modified template and use the settings to not display the ticket details instead.

Ok. I did, and set everything to ‘yes’ in the templates settings.
But it’s not showing after removing the file.

Is one of the following templates involved?
– archive-espresso_events
– content-espresso_events-header
– content-espresso_events
– single-espresso_events

Thank you

Josh

I figured out what the issue was. I had half a dozen tweak from earlier versions which now are obsolete. I deleted above files and it seems just fine.

Thanks for your support and keep up the great work
Cheers
