Hello,

We’d like to add the Manual Registration add-on to one of our sites but I can’t find a link to download it anywhere. I assume it comes with the everything license?

I’d of thought it would be here somewhere; https://eventespresso.com/features/manual-registration/ or on the dashboard but can’t find it.

If someone could help that would be great.

Thanks!

I’ve just found where this is (it’s part of the core plugin, you only see it if you go to registrations via events -> hover over and event -> click registration).

My question now, would be; How can we allow the admins to add registrations after/during an event?

We thought that events would only stop going on sale once the event finishes. Our client would like to be able to register people during the event and sometimes even after the event. Would there be anything I can do to allow this?

Thanks, Harry.

Hi Harry,

You can manually add a registrant/attendee as long as the event is still open for registration and there is still open spaces (if applicable).

In the event editor, you have a date time which is when the event takes place and then the ticket options. If you set the end date for the ticket options to extend into the date range for the event, then they’ll still be available registration.

The other thing to check is the limits. For example, if an event is sold out, then you would need to increase the limit through the event editor to be able to add a guest manually.

Hi Lorenzo,

Great, the client said they weren’t able to do registrations during the event even though the ticket sales were set to go past the date of the event its self but I’ll give it a test to see if it does work.

Is there any way we can let them register event when an event is expired?

Thanks, Harry.

Hi Harry,

The event would need to be made active again and then you could expire it afterwards by shifting the end date for the date time and a pricing option to just before the current time.

Hi Lorenzo,

That’d work but it means the event would show as upcoming/active on the site (which means theres potential for random users to then buy a ticket).

Do you think this would be something we could do some custom edits too, to allow admins to manually add tickets in the backend?

Thanks, Harry.

No, custom edits are not recommended or necessary. The process to add attendees after ticket sales have ended is as follows:

1) Go to edit the event
2) Set the event option for “Display Ticket Selector” to No. This prevents anyone from registering on the front end.
3) Adjust Ticket Sale and event end date time dates accordingly. (They’ll need to be in the future).
4) Click on registrations, then add new registration.
