Hi there
I have a registration that I wish to Trash but attempts to do so fail with the error:
The registration for Joe Bloggs could not be trashed because it has payments attached to the related transaction…
However if I click through to the actual registration with a view to deleting the related transaction, there is no actual payment associated with this registration. So I can’t delete the related transaction as there isn’t one visible in the interface and therefore can’t delete the registration.
Any clues would be appreciated.

There’s no transaction or no payments within the transaction?
If you view the registration and then click the ‘View Transaction’ button do you see something like this – http://take.ms/wiKut
Or do you see something else?

Yes, that’s exactly what I see.
The situation is a little complicated as the original (paid) registration was then transferred to another event using the “Attendee Mover” addon.
So there are 2 registrations to which the initial payment was associated with — the cancelled, original registration and the new registration created by Attendee Mover.

With the attendee mover you don’t actually move a registration, from a registrants perspective you have, but within EE you’ve actually created a new registration and assigned it to the original transaction.
So there are 2 registrations to which the initial payment was associated with — the cancelled, original registration and the new registration created by Attendee Mover.
Why do you want to remove the original registration if its cancelled?
