Hello,

As the title suggest, I cannot switch to the advanced editor. When I click save, it automatically reverts back to legacy editor.

PHP 8.2. All settings are as EE recommends.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did try that setup on my end, and everything seems fine.

Can you check if there’s plugin conflict that restricting the changes?
You can use https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/ or any similar plugin.

You can do the above using Troubleshooting mode:

Tools -> Site Health -> Troubleshooting -> Enabled Troubleshooting mode.

That will disable all plugins and switch to a default theme and then allow you to enable specific plugins troubleshooting mode. Once disabled you will revert back to the current state.

Thanks

Deactivated all plugins except EE. Used a default theme. No luck.

I am having the same issue, so if you could post the solution publicly I would appreciate it!

From an event editor page, I click on the Default Options tab, switch from Legacy Editor to Advanced Editor, then click Save. After the page reloads, the selector is reset back to Legacy Editor.

Your team was great and responded relatively. I became occupied with more important issues and did not reply. There was a WP and EE update today, and that fixed the issue. Wish we could have found the issue, but it resolved itself.

Right, we made a debug on the problem you shared. This is because of some DB settings and the fix is pushed on .21 update.

thanks..
