Dropdowns are not working. Our name tag preview is not working. I can’t add things to Question boxes. Please advise.

Hi there,
I’ve merged your 2 threads together as they both seem related.
So first, to clarify, you are going to Event Espresso -> Registration Form -> Question Groups.
Selecting the Personal Information question group (with ID 1) clicking the checkboxes for custom questions to be included in that group and clicking save?
What happens on save? Do the questions show as checked?
Dropdowns are not working.
Can you add more details on what you mean by not working, please?
Do you mean you can’t add ‘Answer options’ to a dropdown question?
Our name tag preview is not working.

When testing this on your site and the question selection is saving within the question group (the checkboxes save next to each question selected).
Which specific questions are you adding to the group?
One of the questions is County. We should be able to select from a dropdown of the 88 counties listed. When I selected Counties, no dropdown is showing.
This is due to the custom development you’ve had done, it’s hiding the additional fields. They are being added to the page but then there’s some JavaScript loading within the theme which then sets display:none; on the elements.

I’m sorry but I don’t understand this, can you add a screenshot or something to highlight what you are looking for? The issues you are having so far are in regards to the custom development done on the site and I suspect this is the same as I can’t follow what this relates to.

Yeah, there’s a JavaScript error thrown when that button is clicked.
The issues I can follow on the site all appear to be related to the custom JavaScript being loaded to add the ‘conditional logic’ like the setup your registration form uses. Working through custom code to fix issues like this is not something we would do via a support token, you would need to contact the author of that code and have them fix it.
Hiding the tag preview can be done with CSS as a stop gap:

I’ve added the above CSS for you to hide the name badge link.
As for contacting the author, I can’t give you that info as I don’t know who you/your company hired to customize the output. The customizations like the conditional logic (selecting a registration question to then show/hide another question) isn’t part of the Event Espresso, it’s not something we have had a part in added on your site but another developer.
