For some reason I am getting the notifications in WP that I have some updates waiting however when I try to update them in WP it says that the Update Package isn’t available. I have already added my license key to the general settings tab. Am I missing something? Or do i need to continue to update manually?

Thanks!

I have this same issue. Had to update manually from EE v.3.1.24.P to v.3.1.24.1.P.
Now, the Plugins screen shows another EE update available but tne notice does not show the version number… and if I click the “version details” link, I get strange things… like the changelog for version 0.0.2 or (seriously) the details in Chinese.
The auto-update seems to be working fine for EE Calendar but not for EE itself.

Ok, i think i will stay away from the reset option since that’s a $10 fee. I will try to remove any old versions but I really don’t think i have any out there. Thanks for the help though.

Josh, I just tried the other option of locating old espresso files and there are none there. Are there any other options other than buying a new key?

You may need to update the plugin manually if you have an older version of Event Espresso. The updates are available on your account page.

It looks like there’s a reset pending. Did you order a reset?

Try removing the key from the Event Espresso>General Settings screen, then save. Then head over to your profile page. After that copy and paste back in the key into the field on the general settings screen.

I was going to order the reset until I saw there was a cost involved. I’d rather just do it manually instead of pay for a new one. I had the most up to date version of event espresso so not sure why it didn’t work.

I’m back to having the same issue with auto updates. I have removed my license key, saved, and then put it back in there. Can someone please fix this. It seems to happen every other update and it’s quite frustrating.

Thanks,
Ashlie

I’m having this problem also and I am running the latest version of EE. I get this message “Download failed. Service Unavailable” and it’s only happening with the Event Ticketing plugin.

Hello,

I have reset both of your license keys. Please remove the key from the field in your setting, save, then reenter the key and save again.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Just now getting this message, “There is a new version of Event Espresso available. View What’s New with version 3.1.28.P. You need a valid Site License Key to enable automatic upgrades. Your current membership level does not allow automatic upgrades on more than one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.”

Thanks for the speedy response! This worked to remove the “nag” note about not being registered. The update to 3.1.28.P doesn’t work automatically “Download failed: Service unavailable”.
I don’t know how to manually update this, so I’ll stick with what I have for now.

Thanks!

This is rather frustrating.
I am getting the same message as others.
I have tried to remove the “key”, save, then reapply the key.
But I still get the message

There is a new version of Event Espresso available. View What’s New with version 3.1.28.P. You need a valid Site License Key to enable automatic upgrades. Your current membership level does not allow automatic upgrades on more than one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.

Paying to have it reset seems a bit much.

site is suzieqbbb.com

Thanks

Thanks Jonathan.
Will the auto-update show up again or do I have to manually download and update the plugin?

Sorry for the delayed response. When an update is available, you should see the auto-update. You shouldn’t have to manual update the plugin.
