Can't add multiple attendees by Admin

I am a new customer on Event Espresso – 3.1.36.5.P.
I have an intermittent issue when I register multiple attendees in the Admin area. Sometimes, they all show individually in the attendee list (and the count goes up) and sometimes only the first person of the multiple entry shows. Please help? I do a lot of manual registrations, and this is significant effort.

How many attendees do you typically have to add through the WordPress admin?

any where from 2 through 16 at one time.

I need the multiple entry, because if someone has called to book a private party or a big group and is paying with one card, I need to be able to enter all the attendees and the one cost and one transaction code.

Hello,

I just tested adding a handful of attendees to our testdrive site but could not duplicate the issue.

For that range, you may want to try the attendee importer tool:

Thank you … I have already downloaded it and will try it ASAP. Also, this is my first Pre-release item. Any chance you could direct me on where I would go to IMPORT the new CSV file?

This would be done through the Attendee Import menu for Event Espresso:

Sorry Lorenzo, but I have no idea where the “Attendee Import” menu is located. It isn’t in the main EE page, nor in the Event Overview Menu, where I see “import events”. Help?

You would need to upload and activate the batch import tool which is available from our Pre-release channel:

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I have enabled the pre-release channel at https://eventespresso.com/wiki/pre-release-channel-guide/

Then I downloaded the files for Attendee importer tool at https://eventespresso.com/wiki/attendee-batch-import-tool/

There are no additional instructions. I understand how to fill out the excel file, but there are no instructions on how to actually upload the file. Please direct me to the exact location within Event Espresso where that capability is available, or what program to run to enable it’s use. You had previously stated it is at ” the Attendee Import menu for Event Espresso”, but either I do not have that menu or I do not know how to access that menu.

It should appear in the Event Espresso menu:

The plugin should be activated (otherwise it won’t appear in the menu as shown in the image above).
