I am able to view event details when using a free WordPress theme, but I am unable to view an event using the premium theme that I wish to use. Are there settings that need to be changed in my premium theme to be able to view events? I really do not want to use the free WordPress theme for my site.
I am hoping to show the free features to my leadership team with the hopes of upgrading to a full business version of event Espresso, but it’s difficult to justify when I’m unable to view the events at this stage.

Hi Juliana,
What version of Event Espresso are you using (e.g Event Espresso 3 lite or Event Espresso 4 decaf) and what is the name of the theme and is Event Espresso content missing site-wide?

Hi – I am using Event Espresso 4 decaf. The theme is joeby. I can view the event lists and such, just not the events themselves.

Hi Juliana,
You might want to reach out to the theme developer about this issue. From what I can see by looking at the page source, there is a fatal error caused by the theme:
Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/columb20/public_html/test/wp-content/themes/joeby/includes/breadcrumbs.php on line 45
