Cannot update total amount paid to date

Hello, I only accept EFT payments and want to update the status to complete and enter the amount that the delegate has paid. It does however not allow me to do that. The total amount owing and the total amount paid just has a red line around them but it does not allow me to update.
I suspect the delegates are not completing their registration by clicking the link. The link on the final page is VERY confusing if you only have EFT as the payment type.
Please help?

Hi Chantel,

The EFT payment option does not automatically update the payment amount regardless of whether someone clicks on the finalize registration link. You might try setting the default payment status to Pending, which will automatically finalize each registration.

When manually updating the payment amount on the “Edit Attendee Payment Record” screen, you can enter the payment amount in the field that is labeled “Enter New Payment Amount:”, which is directly below the two fields outlined in red. Please be sure to enter a transaction type and a unique transaction ID when entering/updating a payment.
