Cannot update event espresso

Keep getting this error:
“An error occurred while updating Event Espresso: Update package not available.”

i tried deleting and replacing my site license key. any other suggestions?

Hi Shingt,

Sorry for the trouble. Our update system must have been extra busy or down at that time. Can you try one more time and let us know if you still have trouble?

Hi there,

It looks like at one point Event Espresso was installed on a subdirectory for this account. I’m going to issue you a brand new key that you can try using. You can copy it from your account page and paste it into the key field in Event Espresso>General Settings.
