Hi, the download of the invoice pdf worked fine on my deveolpers site. Now after moving to the actual domain using wp migrate db pro it doesn´t work anymore. I cannot find anything to solve that problem. No log file. Where is the PDF generated? The error is displayed in german. It says roughly 405 – HTTP verb not allowed – The site cannot be displayed because of unvalid method. Here is an example
http://www.shiatsu.de/heidelberg?ee=msg_url_trigger&snd_msgr=pdf&gen_msgr=html&message_type=invoice&context=purchaser&token=1-47c2fc80df81b6f192d2ea70d7581f0f&GRP_ID=2&id=0

I use divi theme.
Thank you for your help.
Rene

Hi Rene,

I used the link you posted and the invoice PDF was generated and I was able to dowload it. Here’s a copy you can dowload.

The 405 error that you saw may be the result of running an IIS 7 server, which is not one of the server environments that Event Espresso supports. You can avoid the 405 error and other errors by switching to one of the supported server environments that are listed here:

Thank you. Yes it runs on windows IIS7. The Server cannot be changed easily, since we have multiple sites on there and my site is in a subdirectory. The serveradmin said he can figure it out, but I am not sure about that. Is there some documentation on finding solutions for EE4 on Windows server?

Hello,

We do not recommend Windows based servers for Event Espresso as we develop and test on nginx and apache servers.

You could create a new hosting account under one of the member-recommended web hosts.

Thank you. I just received a message, that we might be able to switch to Apache. That should solve most of the hurdles…
Thank you

Just to note that it is possible to run Apache on a Windows server, which should still work better although we recommend using a Linux stack (LAMP or LEMP) for the least amount of issues.

Please do let us know how you get on and which setup you end up using.
