I am unable to add or edit any of the tickets for an event. When I click on the button to edit a ticket, nothing appears to happen. When I try to add a ticked, the page will refresh but the new ticket does not appear. I do sometimes receive the error below on the page.

Failed to initialize plugin: fusion_button

Hi there,

Generally this means there is another plugin on the site throwing a JavaScript error on the site which then prevents EE editor from working.

WP5.5 introduced a change which caused problems for a lot of plugins (EE has no issues although it does now use a deprecated function which we’ll get fixed up). The quickest way to see if that’s the issue here is to install this plugin on the site:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/

Does the editor then start working?

Thank you for the information. The plugin did indicate a few deprecated functions and the editor is now working.

Great, I’m glad it got you back up and running.

The above plugin is intended as a band aid fix to keep you going whilst you update the plugins/theme causing the errors etc so shouldn’t be considered a permanent fix. You’ll need to work through those notices to have the code updated (updating or creating a ticket with the author).

We are aware of the load() and unload() noticed thrown by Event Espresso but right now it won’t be causing the issue above so no need for a ticket on that one 🙂
