Cannot connect with iphone app

I originally had the api installed and working  for the ipad.  I wanted to move to the iphone so i removed the json api and placed the espresso services folder in the same place as wp-config.php.  Downloaded the app and keep getting “Sorry, can’t log in Blog returned invalid data.  I have WP 3.5.1 and the latested download of event espresso.  What’s missing?

The iPad and iPhone apps (Event Espresso HD) can now both use the JSON API.
