How can a booking be cancelled?
It should be possible for the participant to cancel their booking after a successful booking. The seat that has become free for the event must be taken into account and the ticket price must be refunded. Is there any documentation for this?
The registrant would need to contact the admin and have them cancel the booking (by setting the registration status to Cancelled).
To cancel a registration you go to Event Espresso -> Registrations.
Find the registration in question and click the name to edit.
Change the registration status to cancelled and update (you can set ‘Send relatd messages’ to Yes when doing this to trigger a registration cancelled email).
Then in another tab log into your payment merchant and initiate a refund through their portal (How depends on the specific merchant you are using).
