I want people to be able to put down a deposit for an event that they specify. Is there a way to let them do this or doe it always have to be a set price? I would like them to be able to put a deposit down for instance.

Hi there,
Currently Event Espresso does not support partial payments/deopsits from the front end. It is possible to create multiple tickets that the user can register onto (first a deposit ticket then later a ‘final payment’ ticket) however that won’t work for all use cases and is a fixed payment.
