Hello,

We have used EE for a few sites over the last 2 years. We have been asked for the following set up and there is one area I am unsure about.

We have one venue and it runs many events each year for a limit of 9 people per event (this is easily set up in EE4), we will manually add the people through the front end of the site and they need to be grouped by ‘company’, then later in the year we can see which company used most tickets etc.

Can this be achieved through simply adding customer fields in EE4 registration forms or do I need to utilize users/groups within wordpress?

Any other solutions is welcome

Hi Ricardo,

One option would be to add a custom question to the registration form which you can manually provide the company name.

Then when you export the registrations you’ll get all of the registration but using one the various spreadsheet programs (such as MS Excel) you could sort by company name and count the rows there.

Would that work?

Thank you for the info. I take it is possible to have a pre populated drop down for that?

Also we require the client to add the events each month, we are trying to provide a white label solution, so for the client to add the 9 people for each event we can present this via a front end theme, is there a way to be able to add events either without the admin section or with some white label for WP admin? We have looked at and used white label products in the past but they normally fall a little short do you have any recommendation on this at all?

Sure, you can add a custom dropdown question – http://take.ms/CFAuK

Add the companies as values for that dropdown and then select a value on the registration.

Is there a way to be able to add events either without the admin section or with some white label for WP admin?

Currently front end event submissions are not supported within Event Espresso 4 so this would require custom development, with the datetime and ticket editor this will likely be fairly complex.

Could you not create a custom role for these users and limit access of Event Espresso to only allow them to add their own events?
