Furthermore, we sometimes have tickets where they can choose multiple options, so there would be 2 or 3 different ticket options for each day.
My question here:
Is there functionality in Event Espresso, (or in the recurring tickets add-on) that would allow us to continue to use one event “post” like we currently do, but include dropdowns for each?
So for example, the ticket section would just be:
Date Dropdown – Ticket Tier Dropdown – Ticket Quantity Dropdown
Is that dropdown functionality something we can do here?
So we don’t have the functionality you are requesting above, but we do have a ticket filter built in if that helps.
Go to Event Espresso -> Events -> Templates
Set the ‘Show Date & Time Filter?’ option to be ‘Maybe show…’
(‘Maybe’ becuase its based on the number of unique datetimes, which is set using the threshold below)
I assume you have a unique datetime for each instance of the event and the tickets are assigned to the correct datetime? If so, you can set the threshold to a number that will enable the filter for these types of events but not for others, try 3 (so 3 unique datetimes before the filter shows).
Then view the ticket selector and you’ll see the datetime selector above it.
Does that help?
