I’ve been checking out the program and I’m looking to answer a few functionality questions to determine which license I need to procure for my client. We are looking to be able to do the following:
1. User Creation upon registration
2. Ability for users to modify(add-on) items to registration after initial registration
3. Ability to print/generate QR codes or barcodes to check people in to paid sessions.
4. Book Large Groups
5. Generate a directory listing of registrants

Hello,
1) Event Espresso 3 does not do this on its own but you can do this by using some code like this:

2) The WP User integration addon will allow members to make changes to their registrations: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/members-integration-addon/#my_events_screen
3) The Ticketing addon will create QR codes on the tickets: https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-ticketing/#tabFeatures
4) Event Espresso can handle large group registrations. If you are expected a rush of traffic for registrations, then we recommend getting a web server that is more powerful than shared web hosting.
5) Yes, this is possible through the Attendee List shortcode:
