I’m setting up registration for a kids’ summer camp. We put the kids into different groups based on age. I know we could set up multiple events for the same camp, each event based on age, but we don’t want parents to be confused by seeing multiple event choices. Also, we want to have control over which kids get put into which group (we know many of these kids, and it may be appropriate for them to be in a different group).
So…
We’d like to have attendee pre-approval turned on so we can review the registrations before they pay. Then on our end (offline) we’ll put the kids into age-based groups. When one of our age groups is full, we’d like to move new registrants for that age group onto the waitlist event, EVEN if the event isn’t full yet.
Is something like this possible? Or do you have another suggestion for how to handle this kind of event registration?
Thanks!

Currently its not easy to do, as it involves editing the database or recreating the attendee on the new event and deleting them from the old one. However, we are just in the testing phase of a new feature that has been in the pipeline for moving attendees. We are hoping to release it soon, dependant on testing.
