Can I make a ticket mandatory in order to buy an other ticket?

Hi, Apologies if this has been resolved somewhere but I can’t find this information.

I am setting up an event (a festival) with workshops (paid).
I need to make the workshop tickets purchasable only if the main festival entry ticket has been selected. What’s the best way to go about this?

And would I need to create multiple events (one for festival, and one for each workshop? )

Hi dctc,

You set up one event, then set up a ticket for the main event, and tickets for the workshop. The main event ticket can be set as “Required” by opening the advanced ticket editor panel (click on the ) then check the box next to “This ticket is required (will appear first in frontend ticket lists).”
