I have 2 events that I want to use the same ticket pool. The reason is because it is actually the same event, but one version of the event offers free tickets for students that need financial assistance so we don’t want to advertise that ticket on the main event page. I duplicated the event and added a free ticket for the students who need scholarship assistance, but when someone registers for that event or the main version of the event, I want the available tickets to decrease for both.

Hi there,
Reducing the availability from one event, when a registration is made on another is currently not available within Event Espresso.
It would be possible to do but will require significant custom development from a developer. If you are not currently working with a developer, you could try contacting one of the developers listed here:

OK thanks, I am a developer but don’t have time to get too deep into this plugin, I tried editing the table that had the relationship between date times and tickets but that just moved the ticket so I figured I’d come here and ask and see if there was an easy way and if not just not worry about it.
