I am switching from Mijireh to the Intuit Quickbooks Add on plugin so that we an simplify the checkout process and keep it on site and wanted to verify first that Intuit was also capable of processing non-US credit cards? Do I also need to leave the Mijireh option active and available or should Quickbooks do the same as Mijireh?

Hi Brett,

That’s a great question. I checked the information available on the Quickbooks payments website and I couldn’t find an answer there.

Since there wasn’t an answer there, a quick chat with a sales rep from Quickbooks revealed this information: “the cardholder with the non us credit card has to contact their bank to get a us address to use it unless you are swiping the card.”.

So it sounds like the answer is “it depends”. It may be best if you can check with someone from Quickbooks and they can help you verify whether their payment solution will meet your specific needs.

If you do start using Quickbooks for payments, you can deactivate Mijireh if you prefer to only use Quickbooks.

Thank you very much for looking further into this Josh. I really appreciate the info! I have followed up with them directly so that we can devise a policy/instructions for this on our site. Thanks again!
