This is a bit complicated but I will do my best…
The site I’m working on is a membership site – with just one level of membership. I’ve been asked by the client to now make several different membership levels, each one to be geographically targeted to a different country… and each country will of course be running just their own particular events.
Can EE cope with filtering events, so each geographical membership ‘level’ will see only the events for their particular country?
If EE can cope with this, could you point me in the right direction to learn how I would set about doing this?

The best way I can think of doing that is to categorize your events by each country and then create both a calendar and event list page specific to that country. Then you can try to control access to that calendar and event list page based on the user’s membership leve.
Does that make sense?

You might look into Restrict Content pro for allowing specific content for specific membership levels:

Thank you Josh. I had a look at that link and it looks about the same as Wishlist, which is what I’m using on that site. Do you know if it’s better for my purpose than Wishlist in any way?
