Hi. I’m a wp web dev, and my client wants to find a replacement for DonorDrive — an event system that can handle Individuals and Teams, has Fundraising Pages (for each Individual and Team), takes Donations (to Individuals and Teams).

I spent a couple hours reviewing EE4 marketing info, and searched the forums, and setup a quick demo site for myself. It seems like EE4 is not the right tool, but i want to CONFIRM before i look elsewhere.

I did find a few references in the forums to “teams”, with some suggestions about how to accommodate that concept, and a brief tutorial (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/setup-golf-tournament-event-espresso/), so i have some hope.

Below are the specific requirements I have so far. Some are really still too vague, and require more details, but if EE4 is obviously not the right choice I need to move on quickly.

Registration / Payment
– for Individual
– for Team — A participant would create a team upon registering themselves for the event, which other people could then join. We don’t need to allow for the ability to create teams once everyone is registered. (*needs clarification)

Fundraising Pages
– for each Individual and each Team
– Edit text
– Progress indicator (against a goal?)

Donations (on the Fundraising pages)
– for Individual
– for Team
– for Event

Customized Notif Emails (*needs clarification)
– to Individual
– to Teams
– to Admin
