I am testing a new theme that I want to use on my main site. Unfortunately I cant get the Calender to show up. I have gone through the previous threads on this issue and nothing seems to work. I have tried using the [raw] tags. I am guessing that it is the theme but I am hoping there is a work around.
The test site url is emsalberta.com
The only plugins loaded are event expresso and expresso calender.
The theme is called Just Landed from Theme Forest.
It looks like the theme is adding its own auto-formatting filters to the page content, so there’s paragraph tags that are breaking the Calendar’s JavaScript code.
The theme could be fixed, you might try asking the theme developer for support. They may have a readymade solution where they’ve removed their filters and restored the original WordPress content filters.
Or, you could try creating a special page template for the calendar page. The calendar documentation has some instructions on how to create a page template that includes the calendar shortcode:
