Calendar works until I add any Category ID

My calendar works if I just use the simple short code but not if I add an ID. Whats the first thing I should look at that might be causing this.

Hi Shelly,

You can use the ID or the slug of the category with that shrotcode attribute, so:

[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR event_category_id=67]

and

[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR event_category_id=some-cat]

Are basically the same thing (if ‘some-cat’ has an ID of 67), so if you try the category slug does it work?

Also is the category you are using a parent category and your categories are then assigned to that? If so it won’t pull in any events as they need to be assigned to the category you pass to the calendar.
