Hey guys, this can’t be the themes fault. The calendar will work how its supposed to ONLY after I forward one month and then back another month.

IT WILL NOT work correctly if you just visit the calendar page on desktop or laptop. The only way to get it to work is to go forward to the month of July and the Back to the month of June.

So I cant really tell website visitors to land on the calendar and then go forward a month and back a month? I have tried all different options on the calendar add-on as well. So please help how can we fix this.

Hi Jarred,

this can’t be the themes fault.

If the theme is changing the order of how things normally load it can throw off the calculations for the event entries on page load. When you switch months it re-pulls the events and re-calculates the values (as the events have changed they would be invalid anyway).

This can easily be due to something weird going on in a theme.

We don’t have an option to in the calendar settings to fix this as it’s not expected.

One way to fix the output is to force a rerender on the calendar when the window has finished loading, something like this should do it:
