Calendar widget bleeding over to calendar page.

http://www.TulsaFencing.com/events-calendar/

When I access this page, the “body” of the page shows two calendars – the calendar from the widget sits on top of the regular calendar. What is weird is that the middle footer – where the calendar widget is positioned (titled Upcoming Events) – is blank even though it works on all the other pages.

Any ideas?

In the calendar widget setting, be sure to include the page slug or page ID of the calendar page. The calendar widget is not intended to display on the same page of the calendar.

One thing you might try to fill in the void left on the calendar page is use a plugin like widget logic to display alternate content for that page.

In the “Event Espresso Calendar Widget: Events Calendar”

The “Calendar Page” setting was: http://www.tulsafencing.com/events-calendar/

When I removed the setting, the doubled-display in the body of the page went away.

But, so did my calendar in the footer. I would still like to show the abbreviated calendar in the footer though so that I can keep a consist look and feel through out the website.

Is there a way I can click on something in the widget to “launch” the full calendar page?

Thank-you.

Oops! I spoke too soon. When I removed the page slug for the calendar, it removed the calendar from every page but the HOME page.

Basically, the page slug is in the calendar widget and I get a double calendar in the body and no calendar in the widgetized footer.

It seems like this would be such an easy fix. – IF this is the calendar page THEN ignore the calendar widget.

I just used the Upcoming Events Widget in its place.

Thank-you.

Sorry for the confusion. The page slug would be actually be events-calendar in this case, not the full URL to the page.
