Hi. I’m thinking these 2 things may be related but I’m not sure.
I want a calendar view (by month) and an events view on my website. I understand that I should simply be able to add “/events” to the end of my URL and the events list should appear. this is not happening. https://teresadurham.com/index.php/events
Also, for the calendar view, following the documentation, I created a page and added a container within which, I added a shortcode block. I put the shortcode [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR cal_view=month] in the block and the design page shows nothing but the short code, but the preview page shows my event categories hyperlinked.

What am I missing?

The hyperlink is in draft, and i cannot look on it.
Can you confirm if your site calendar plugin is activated? Can you also try other shortcode if it works?

Calendar confirmed activated and I’ve tried several other [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR cal_view=month] short codes and they did not work either. I changed “month” to a month name and that did not work either.

Hi Teresa,
Can you please let us know which container you are using to add the shortcode?
As I can see the shortcodes is correct and it should show the monthly view of the calendar in the page.
Can you please share the login so that we can take a closer look at the issue:

Well… I got something to show up. I only have 4 events and they were all inactive. I activated 1 but it was in the past. I activated/published an event scheduled for 7/31 and it showed up on the page. However, there is still no calendar. I was hoping for a monthly calendar view like in the documentation.

I was able to figure it out. I can now see a monthly calendar with my events highlighted in it.
