See the below url. I placed the calendar shortcode in a WP page, but it is not displaying the calendar. Almost as if the system doesn’t recognize the short code. I need this to work by Wednesday, any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Hi.

Did you paste in the shortcode in WYSIWYG view or HTML view? Make sure you’ve added in the HTML view, not sure why it’s doing what you’re experiencing.

It is the html view. How can I work with you to resolve this?

I’m sure this is a dumb question but I have to ask: is the Espresso Calendar plugin active?

Hi Chris, it is, in the above link, I also tried the following short codes which are working fine

[EVENT_LIST]
[EVENT_LIST category_identifier=public-1346025632]

But the calendar shortcode is not rendering the calendar as expected

I only ask because the only time I would expect to see the calendar shortcode written out like that is if the Calendar plugin was not installed. The event list shortcode would work fine because that’s part of the core plugin. The calendar shortcode only works when the Calendar plugin is installed. Can you doublecheck your Plugins page and make sure Espresso Calendar appears and is active? If so, please send WordPress admin level log in credentials via the contact form on this page: https://eventespresso.com/contact/

Select the “I am sending login info as requested” department form.

I am also experiencing this problem. I have been using the calendar since April and it has worked fine up until the last week. Now it wont read the calendar at all. The link below shows what is showing up on the front end and I have the short cut [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR] in the page’s HTML. So I’m not sure why it’s not working. Nothing has changed. Any ideas?

@bblesi You have a different issue. On your site, the ESPRESSO_CALENDAR shortcode is not displaying on the page like it is in mkirk’s case. For your site, you are loading jQuery from a non-standard location and are getting javascript errors on your page.

Chris is that something I can delete and the problem will be fixed? Sorry just not sure if this is a problem I can fix on my own or if I need to have my developer look at it. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
