Hi All

Is there a way i can disable next years dates in the calendar? My client has uploaded their events for 2012. they have not finalised the dates for 2013 or beyond (they are a cookery school) but do not want users the click into 2013 on the calendar and see each month as empty.

Is there a way to stop the calendar displaying months into 2013? Os does anyone have any other suggestions (apart from the obvious one of uploading the events for 2013!!)

thanks

andrew

Hi Andrew,

I’ve looked into this before, and I do not believe there’s a setting in the Fullcalendar jQuery plugin that allows for end date like this. One thing you could do is create one or a few “events” for the beginning of 2013 that can be used as an opportunity to gather interest for the new class schedule. The description for this could explain that the new schedule isn’t ready yet, but if they’d like to be notified when it’s ready, to sign up for a mailing list. Then either have a free sign up for this and link it to a mailchimp opt-in (If you have the mail-chimp add-on) -or- use the alternate registration page event option and link to a page for a newsletter subscription sign up.
