Hello, I saw the new changes on your website today, and was eager to try the new calendar, but after setting up everything as described, the calendar doesn’t show any events. I tought it was a jquery related problem, but I deactivated every jquery or css options in the calendar template settings, and still my events don’t show up. here is a link of the calendar on my website: http://didakticiel.com/test/ Thanks i advence for your answers. |
Do your events have start and registration dates and times? You need to have all the info in the event before the event will show up on the calendar. |

Thanks for your answer, but the post has all the required info…. Here is a link: http://didakticiel.com/conferences/?ee=13 |
Oh, I know what the problem is. There’s an issue with the French WordPress language files in how they format times with the h and min. Go to your WordPress General Settings page and change the default time format and see if that fixes the problem. It should. French is the only language that seems to have this problem. |
Thanks a lot, It works! I switched from 17h:57:min to 17:57 and it solved the problem. |
The alternate time format throws our javascript off. Like I said, French is the only language (that I’ve seen so far, I’ve tested a few) that does this, and it makes that time format the default. All the other time formats seem to work fine. |

Hello, when I go to my http://www.sharedvisions.ca/calendar it is no longer there… it was there after I did an upgrade a few months ago but now it is gone. I have added a screen shot of my calendar setting below. Please advise… thanks! Lisa P.S. here is the screen shot: http://i50.tinypic.com/fmq42h.png |
Hi Lisa, Can you try deactivating some plugins, starting with the dm-albums/galleria plugin to see if that makes a difference? It looks like a plugin is loading jQuery without enqueueing it properly, so the jQuery JavaScript library is loading twice. |

I am having the same issue as above. The theme is bloglife pro. It doesn’t appear to be running jquery at all. The URL is: http://cccmen.org/event-calendar-2/ I am 99% sure it’s the theme as it worked before the theme change. Any help is appreciated.. |
Joe, The calendar is no longer showing on your site. Is this the issue? Did you remove the shortcode from the page?
No the shortcode was there. I changed the theme and it works again. It was something with the theme. The problem is I really liked the old theme! ๐ I am sure it has something to do with jquery but, I am not on the dev side. I’m a hardware guy ๐ |
Hi Joe, If you’d like to troubleshoot the other theme, activate it and view the calendar page source using Firebug or the web inspector in Chrome/Safari. That should display an error that should provide a clue toward a solution. See these links for more info: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/calendar/#troubleshooting |
I wasn’t able to find any jquery or google statements in the errors attached. |
I tried using the calendar short code, but it is not displaying the calendar, only the shortcode, as if WP doesn’t know the short code exists. The event list short code is working fine, however. http://thsblog.sonomait.com/calendar-of-events/ Any ideas why this may be happening? |
