Hello – None of my calendar pages will display the calendar in IE8. Example: http://www.brookfieldlibrary.org/brkwpress/events/event-calendars/all-events-calendar/ Any idea why this may be? Thank you – |

Hello Jennifer, I checked the site out in an IE testing environment (IETester) for version 8 and the calendar appeared, though it did throw up a script error, which isnt unusual for IE. However IE 7 didnt show it. We only support the latest browser configurations, though generally Event Espresso will work on older browsers. IE is now on version 9.
I would consider either amending the JQuery to make it function with IE or using a PHP script/conditional to show alternative content on the calendar page for IE 8 and below users, maybe a list of the events instead. One other thing to consider – is Event Espresso up to date? A lot of bug fixes occur as new updates are pushed out. |

Hi Jennifer, I am facing the same problem as you. Calender does not load up on IE8.. I tested your site and it seems to be working now.. Care to share how you got it fixed? Thanks in advance! Regards… |

Hello – I wish I could tell you that I magically fixed something, but I didn’t! It was an odd problem, because it wasn’t even every computer with IE8. I tried it on multiple machines, and it would work on a couple, but not on most, which is why I opened the ticket. If you do come across a more concrete fix at some point, I would love to hear it! Thanks – |

Thanks for the reply Jennifer… For some weird reason mind started working again… Keeping fingers crossed ๐ Would let you know if we managed to to find the bug and kill it ๐ Thanks Jennifer… |

My calendar is not only not displaying in IE8 but not in Chrome 21.0.1180.89 m either. It’s fine in Firefox 15.0.1. Any idea on what is going on? |
@markal Can you doublecheck that page and make sure it has the [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR] shortcode? |
|
|
This is the shortcode I have on the page It is now not showing on Firefox where yesterday it was. |

Alas, it is back on Firefox but not IE8 and Chrome. I sent my login info to you so hopefully you can find the problem in the backend. |
