Looks like this is a common problem, I suspect it may be a jquery issue and I’ve already wrapped the shortcode in raw tags. However, I don’t have the knowledge or know how on how to fix this. Please help! I only have event espresso and calendar plugins at the moment and both are activated. I’ve set up a calendar specific only page with just that shortcode and have also already pointed the plugin to load on that specific page. If anyone can be of assistance I would really appreciate it.
It looks like the entire shortcode is getting wrapped in <code> tags. Can you go into the page editor and edit the calendar page and switch to Text or HTML view? There are two tabs on the upper right side of the page editor box, and if you’re in visual view, you will not see the <code> tags. Those should be removed.
It’s likely the installed WP theme, but it may be a plugin. There’s something adding paragraph tags to the calendar JavaScript. One possible solution that you might try is create a calendar page template. There is some documentation on how to do this in here:
Before doing that, I’d try temporarily switching to the twentytwelve theme to see if that corrects the issue.
