There are two questions I have for the monthly calendar:
1. How can I put the arrow navigation to move to the next month at the bottom of the calendar as well as the top? — it’s a real pain to have the customer have to scroll all the way to the top to jump to the next month.
2. Is there any way to have the calendar (monthly) start the month display with the current week? this is particularly annoying when it’s the last week of the month!
— Our calendar has a lot of events on each day, so… by the type you get down to the third week, having the customer have to scroll all the way down to that point is… annoying. ๐
One last “lovely wish list” item would be: as the person scrolls to the bottom of the calendar, have an optional (load next month) automagically so that they can just keep scrolling without having to make them think. People don’t like to think too much these days! ๐
1) We use the Fullcalendar script as a base for our calendar. I haven’t seen any modifications that could enable this, but if you are ok with Javascript then in theory at least it could be possible to custom develop.
2) Not to my knowledge. The script will load the month in it’s entirety rather than a four week time period. Again, in theory, this could be made with custom development. There’s a stackoverflow post about a guy making a two week calendar view that could be used as a base.
Idea) That sounds like an awesome idea! Not sure if it is something we can implement using our current calendar base, but I will certainly add it to our feature request list.
