But – we are having some UX issues with the calendar/events.
When you are in the calendar, say April and you choose an event – it navigates away from the calendar to the event registration page. When you hit the back arrow button ON THE BROWSER (there is no other way to return to where you were) – it takes you to the calendar in February, not April.
Even more aggravatingly, if you set some custom filters, select an event, and then click back, you loose your filters. (Which can take a little effort to set.)
What are the solutions for this issue?
Obviously events could open in a new window. Is there a setting for this?
Better yet would be for events to open over the calendar in the same window. Is that feasible?
You could add a little inline script to open events from the calendar in a new tab/window. I don’t think it’s feasible to open them all in the same window.
