Hello,

My calendar has recently started to do something weird. It was previously only displaying the title of the event. But it is now displaying The event title followed by “: Event Category”.

I don’t think I have done any changes on the calendar lately so I don’t understand where that come from. I have looked in the option, but I still can not find a way to display the title correctly.

Hi,

What’s actually being displayed there is the event title, followed by the name of the datetime. You’ll note that the calendar is displaying each upcoming datetime from the event. So for example if you have two datetimes within an event, both are displayed and if the datetime has a name, it’s included in the calendar entry.

If you prefer to not display the name of the datetime you can add this code snippet to your site:

https://github.com/eventespresso/ee-code-snippet-library/blob/master/addons/eea-calendar/tw_ee_EE_Datetime_In_Calendar__to_array_for_json__title.php

You can add the above to a functions plugin or, if available, into your WordPress child theme’s functions.php file.
