The calendar appears very strange on the website. Chosing category and venue filters appear far apart (fixed this with some css, but would still like it to be normal by default, so I don’t need to do this every time). Fautered images don’t show, but they stretch the event up onto other dates. I wonder if I got some old version of the calendar? It looks nothing like the screen shots.

fixed the overlay of the event by choosing a variable calendar height, but featured image still just stretches the event, but doesn’t appear

nvm, don’t know what changed, but it still stretches the event over other dates below it

Hi there,

Can you link us to the calendar to view this, please?

also, is it possible to increase the loading speed? every time i switch months I have a small loading gear

This is heavily dependent on your server and the number of events your pulling in, the spinning cog is the calendar waiting for the event query to finish.

What type of hosting are you using?

http://penz.temava.com/calendar-2/ – the event is on the July month.
There is only one atm, and I’m using hostgator as a host provider.

Your calendar is wrapped in pre tags.

Edit the page, switch to text mode and check for <pre> and </pre> around the shortcode, it usually means you have copy/pasted the shortcode from a documentation page or another forum post in the post.

Remove those tags and the styling should be better, you’ll likely need to remove the additional styles you added to fix the styles previously.

thank you! The image shows now, thats great!
However I still get the image stretching the event down, do you know how to fix that?

You’d have to set the calendar option to not show images to prevent the image stretching the event down.
