Hi I have set up an event with 4 different tickets. A user can purchase a maximum of 2 per ticket. I did a test where I purchased a ticket (£200) and chose 2 in the quantity drop down (total should be £400). The registration went to pre-approved. I set the status to pending payment and received the email to make the payment. I was only charged £200 rather than £400 (tried with Stripe and Braintree). I received an email to print the tickets and both tickets were included. I expected to be charged £400 and upon successful payment, I would receive both tickets. This is a major issue and I would like your thoughts to resolve it. |

Hi there, Can you link em to the event so I can view this please? Note I’ll run a test registration which you will need to set to Pending Payment so I can see what happens. |

Hello, could you provide a link to the test event page so we can take a look? It should charge the cost of a ticket by the quantity. — |

http://www.mcevents.org.uk/eventica/eventbooking/bolton-family-fun-weekend/ I also expected it to charge by the quantity |

Here is a related issue… I am including in the same card so that you don’t have too many tickets. Please let me know if you want a separate support ticket being raised: Issue with 2 stalls being booked in one registration Steps to reproduce: Tickets sent even before the registration is paid for one stall |

Hi there,
Are you setting the Registration status to ‘Approved’ or ‘Pending Payment’? Approved registrations are registrations that apply to the event regardless of the transaction status. It sounds like your setting your registrations to Approved (which also triggers the ticket notice) rather than Pending Payment.
By default Event Espresso sends all of the registrations tickets when the ticket notice is triggered (when the registration is set to Approved through whichever means, payment or manually) However you can change that to only show tickets for Approved registrations. Are you using the default ticket notice or including the ticket link within another message template? Note – I ran a test registration under my name a little earlier, can you repeat whichever steps you used on the other registration on that please. |

We are setting it to Pending Payment.
I am using the out of the box functionality. I want to be able to only send tickets which have been approved. I think the issue maybe that we have only set one of the tickets to pending approval and not the other. As a result you only get the option to pay for one. If I set both to pending payment, then perhaps it would show the cost for both. Is there anywhere in the back end where a user can see that the tickets were purchased at the same time? |

When you view the registration you’ll see group registrations have (x/x), for example (1/4), (2/4) etc. Those are the group registrations and will be listed in blocks – http://take.ms/FZTGd The registration with the * is the Primary Registration. You will need to change the status for all of the registration within a group for EE to work correctly. |

Can you confirm how you can only print tickets for the tickets which have been approved for. You mentioned there is a setting |
|
Apologies, I meant to include that above. If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages and find the ticket notice message type there. Click on the ‘Registrant’ context to edit that template – http://take.ms/H9jaU Now in text mode within the main contact section search for [TXN_TICKETS_URL] Like this – http://take.ms/mgURC Change that to be [TXN_TICKETS_APPROVED_URL] and save the changes. The ticket notice now uses a URL that only shows Approved tickets. |
