If removing the secondary jQuery did not resolve the issue, you could try disabling (temporarily) all other plugins except EE and see if the issue goes away. If it does, then another plugin is causing a conflict. Reactivate the plugins one by one testing each time to find the conflicting plugin.
You may also wish to use the Theme Test Drive plugin and test the site on a default theme such as Twentytwelve in case there is a theme conflict.
