I’m trying to upload events in bulk using the import tool. When I upload it says it was successful but right under that message it also says the file can not be found. I even tried to upload the sample csv you have for download and that doesn’t seem to be working either. Any suggestions?

The file uploader is trying to write to wp-content/uploads, so you might want to check the permissions of that directory to make sure it’s writable, but that should be the part that is giving you the “File uploaded successfully.” message, so that should be ok.
The second part of that script, that looks for the file “../wp-content/uploads/events.csv” is the part that gives the error message “File not found. Make sure you specified the correct path”.
The file that you uploaded, was it named “events.csv”?
Do you have a standard WP directory layout?

(root-dir)/wp-content/
