Please, see this occurrences with time zone in events:
http://goo.gl/URcgNx and http://goo.gl/eOC04L

They’re the same event but with different times.

Hi there,
This is usually caused by another plugin resetting the timezone. Usually it’s another calendar plugin, but it could be any plugin that uses the
date_default_timezone_set() function. So the first step to fix this is find the offending plugin. Once you find it, you send the plugin author this link:

Hi,

I don’t have any other installed calendar plugin on site, even “EE4 Events Calendar Add-on”.
I use calendar widget. I tried disable it, but the problem remains.

It could be any plugin that uses the
date_default_timezone_set() function, have you tried temporarily disabling all of the other plugins?

Hi,
I only have these plugins in my WP. All necessaries. http://goo.gl/TO8W6q
According automatic emails and other screens, the “wrong” datetime is located in Edit Event (<url>/admin.php?page=espresso_events&action=edit&post=blabla)

Any idea?

If it’s not a plugin, it could be a function of the active WordPress theme. Can you scan the site’s files for the date_default_timezone_set() function?

I couldn’t found. I use the basic “Twenty Ten” theme.
Are you sure that there’s no problem in Edit Event page?
INHO, the datetime in that page is UTC.

Hello,

The information that Josh shared is the most common cause for a mismatch in the times that are shown:

https://eventespresso.com/topic/bug-with-tz-in-events/#post-211351

I would check to ensure that your site is using a city/region near your for your timezone settings and not UTC. If you are using UTC, then go ahead and update it. Then update the date and times for your events via the event editor and save changes.

If the issue continues, then deactivate all plugins and reactivate only Event Espresso and re-test.

And if it still continues, then is there any custom coding in use for your theme such as in the functions.php file?

I use TZ “America/Maceio” (GMT-3). I couldn’t find that string.

The ONLY customization in theme was “Google Analytics” in header.php. I removed it, but without success.

After, I followed yours instructions. I disabled ALL plugins, reactived only EE4 (core). The problem remains…

If you wish, I can create a user on site for yours access.

Are you sure that there’s no problem in Edit Event page?

We’re sure. This is because what you’ve reported isn’t happening on any other sites. There was one report where something similar happened and it turned out to be caused by something specific to that server. There are more details about what happened in this other thread:

https://eventespresso.com/topic/events-overview-tab-listing-events-4-hours-earlier-than-defined/#post-207149

Before investigating any further, have you tried deactivating all other plugins, then go to edit the event, edit the times if need be, then save. After you save the event, then you check the times, are they still incorrect?

Yes, I disabled ALL plugins, re-actived ONLY EE (core), edited event, save it.
Problem remains.
Do you want to access my event site as admin?

No there’s not much I can do with admin access to your site. Did you read the other thread? They had the same issue that you reported here, and the cause from the way the server was set up. The solution was they moved the site to a different server. You can share this information with your host:

If you come across a future post where EE is displaying incorrect dates, and yet the server, php, db, and wp are all reporting correctly, it’s a borked server install. It’s best to switch servers.

I had read it.
Move to another server?
I didn’t understant why…

They didn’t either, but what they found was after they moved to a different server they had no issues with the timezone. That was after 4 days of troubleshooting the old server.
