Braintree TLS 1.2

Hello,

We use the Braintree add-on and recently received an email from Braintree stating the below:

“Based on records, your production account sent non-compliant TLS requests in April 2018.
If you do not update to TLS 1.2, you will no longer be able to interact with Braintree systems after June 26, 2018. This includes creating transactions, vaulting, and accessing the gateway. Learn how to ensure you’re using TLS 1.2 here.
As part of PCI DSS 3.1, all merchants must update to TLS 1.2. On June 26, 2018, Braintree will stop accepting connections encrypted using TLS 1.0 and 1.1 in order to meet the PCI DSS deadline of June 30, 2018.

I’ve already spoken to our hosting company and they have confirmed they support TLS 1.2. Is there something else that either Event Espresso or the Braintree Add-on should be configured?

Hi dionne.c

There actually isn’t something else that either Event Espresso or the Braintree Add-on should be configured. TLS 1.2 happens at the server level. Can you run the TLS 1.2 Compatiblity test on your WordPress website by installing this plugin?
