Braintree Merchant Account ID not recognized

Hello! This topic stems from the issue outlined in this thread:

We have the PHP snippet installed and running, but Braintree is saying the merchant account ID is not recognized. Can someone help? Thanks!

Hi there,

When you make a payment EE creates logs of the request/response to/from Braintree (sensitive data is removed before the logs are created) so if you go to:

Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Logs

You should see multiple entries for the payments you’ve made, look through those logs (Note you need to click on the log ID on the left for each individual log entry, not the TXN ID on the right) and confirm that the ‘merchant_account_id’ value is indeed being sent over to Braintree and that it looks correct in those log entries.
