Braintree Addon – Authorization Problem

Hello

I recently installed the Braintree Payment Addon, I’ve followed your Braintree settings on this link: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/braintree-payment-gateway/

But the addon does not work, when I want to make a ticket order I’m constantly getting this error: EEA_BraintreeExceptionAuthorization

Hi there,

May I ask is “Debug Mode On?” set to Yes or No in Event Espresso > Payment Methods Settings?

The “Debug Mode On” is set to No in Event Espress > Payment Methods Setings.

Hi there,

The last time this happened it was due to an issue with the users account:

However, the error can also mean your Merchant ID, Public Key or Private Key could be incorrect, can you double check those.

As your are using Debug mode,you need the keys from the Sandbox settings on Braintrees, not Production, see:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/braintree-payment-gateway/#locate

(Note the note just after the list on testing payments)
