Bowling League Registration

I have the latest versions of EE and Multi Event Registration running on the most current version of WP.

We’re running an event over the next six weeks. There’s one game in the AM, one in the PM per day. Limited slots for each game. There are 30 ‘game’ days spread over the next six weeks.

Players can register for more than one game if they want. each game represents a single event

Is it possible to register for multiple games using one registration form?

Example: Could I register for games on the mornings of 6/20 and 6/21 using a single registration form. The availability of slots would have to be reduced by one and the entry fee would need to be a sum total of the two games/events.

Hope that’s clear enough, would be happy to explain further if needed. Thanks!!

Hi there,

Yes its possible to register onto multiple events at once ๐Ÿ™‚

If you do not require any question groups for ‘Additional Registrants’ on the events then it will only request information once for all of the events.

Do you have the events setup currently so I can see how your setting up the registrations?

You’ll likely want each day as a separate event, each with 2 tickets (AM and PM).

The user can then select tickets from the event list showing the ticket selector for any events that want to add to the cart and when done complete the registrations.

Thanks Tony! I’ll give that a try and report back if need.

As an aside – what’s up with the guided ‘first time here’ tour? I’ve been through it 3 times now, do I really need a 4th? My guess is I keep seeing the tour b/c I clear my cache. Is there a setting that shuts off the tour?

Yeah its re-appearing because you clear your cache and yes we have an option for it ๐Ÿ™‚

If you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Admin options.

Within ‘Help Tour Global Activation’ you’ll find an option to disable it.

If you run into any problems setting up your events above please do let me know.

Thanks for the info about the tour.

Any chance I could send you a link to my events page w/o making it public.

I created four dates/games with an AM & PM ticket each. Thanks to the multi registration plugin, you can select several games before checking out which is great.

Couple of issues though – each ticket in the cart is referred to as an attendee which might be confusing b/c there’s only one attendee registering for multiple games.

Also, the registration form – I need just one form with all of the system fields plus an additional 4 custom fields.

Hello,

You would need to publish the event for us to see it and then you could share a link by emailing us here:

Be sure to include a link to this support post so we know what the link is for.

On your other question, there is a relationship between the number of tickets and attendees/registrants. For example, 1 ticket is one registrant, and 2 is two registrants and so forth.

Do you currently have a custom question group to collect the additional participant information?

If not, could you create those questions and then add them to that question group and then add the question group to the primary registrant question group through the event editor?

Also, there is a way to add some help text to the registration form so that is another option to consider.

I fixed, with the help from both of you (thanks!) all of my issues except one. I would really like to make the field sets with ‘attendee #’ as the legend to disappear – permanently. I tried via CSS but the id for the field set is dynamic.

You can use the following CSS to hide those:

.spco-attendee-panel-dv:not(:first-of-type) {
display:none;
}
