Hi event espresso – We are a retreat center that host events where we use the ticketing options for people to specify amount of food tickets or nights they wish to buy in our dormitory/rooms.
But would it be possible also to use event espresso also as a kind of booking system where users can specify dates outside the events – eg if somebody just wants to book a stay from the 3rd to the 7th may?
If not is there a hack to do it so that one could for example set up an event that lasts for years (from now til the year 9999) and then in the ticketing options the client can specify the start and end time he/she wishes to book a room.

Great question. If you want to add some booking features to the site, I’d recommend staying away from hacks and instead use a plugin that was built for booking. For example:
