I’ve got a class running once a week for the foreseeable future and I want my clients to be able to book classes in blocks of 6, 8 or 10 starting from the date of the next class. How do I do this with Event Espresso? |
Hello Andrea, I think what you are trying to do is possible by creating an event for each time that the event takes place. If you’re using the recurring event manager, you can set all the dates that follow the first one to not display a registration form, and link to the first event’s registration page. This way, each date will show up on the calendar, but they’ll all link to the event that you’ve set up for signups. Here is a link to a thread in our old forums where there is a few more details on how to set this up (including screenshots) |

Thanks for the quick response Jonathan, I was aware if Josh’s diagram but it doesn’t tell me how I can have a block of 10 classes booked in say March through to May if the initial event is in January. It would always just display the first event date. The multi event add-on is basically just a cart so if my client wanted to block book 10 classes, they would have to click on 10 different events. All I need is the next available starting date for the class and Event Espresso to display the next 10 date entries for this class. Is this possible? |

Just to clarify this a bit more; I have setup all my classes with the recurring event manager for the next six months (there are over 500 in total running weekly). I need to be able to allow my clients to click a button will allow them to book the next 6, 8 or 10 classes starting from the starting date they select from the calendar. |
Hello Andrea, Unfortunately, I don’t believe that is possible. However, with Multiple Event Registration, they should be able to select the events they want by adding them to the cart. As far as selecting a specific date and it automatically selecting the next 6, 8, or 10 classes, that isn’t possible. |

That’s a shame. I guess I’ve no choice then as I need to have some sort of block booking system and I’ve already bought Event Espresso so I\’ll have to do it with the Multiple Event Registration method. I think it would be a great feature to include in a future release and I am genuinely surprised it isn’t in there already. Thanks for your input. |
Hi Andrea, Thanks for taking the time to leave this valuable feedback. I’ve registered your suggestion and we will keep it in mind for future features and updates! |
