Hi there,

In order for anyone to register onto the event it will temporarily need to be set so it’s no longer expired, however, you can set the event to not display the ticket selector so no users can register onto the event on the front end.

So, edit the event, set the datetime end date (and ticket sale end date) so they are not expired, then in the ‘Event Registration options’ metabox to the right, set ‘Display Ticket Selector’ to No and save.

Now you can add registrations to the event from within the admin without users on the fron end being able to add their own.

When finished set the dates back to the previous date and update again.
