We’ve been making a website for a client using Event Espresso. It concerns a big event where different presentations, workshops and other activities will be hosted (see this link for another support question I asked in the past on Event Espresso for more information. For the event we’ve made a system where the visitors need to register in order to ‘apply’ for a presentation, workshop or activity with use of Event Espresso, which works correctly.
The only problem is that users can apply for different activities which will fall in the same time slot, there is no option to ‘block’ the timeslots out. Is there a way within Event Espresso to make it unavailable for users to register for an event where they already registered for an event which falls within the same time limit?
Event Espresso does not actually have a feature that programmatically controls whether people can double book themselves for different activities which happen in the same time slot. That could be something that a developer could build to your client’s specifications.
Thanks for your reaction. Do you mean that one of the Event Espresso’s developers could realise this for our project? And if so, what eventual costs will be attached to realise this?
